What to expect
There you will visit 2 different wineries where all the secrets of Port wine will be unraveled.
You will have contact with all the different stages of wine production, from the vineyards to the stamping place, passing to the barrels and bottling. Finishing both visits with a fantastic wine tasting.
In the Douro Valley besides wine, one of the best olive oils of Portugal is produced. We will provide our customers with a gourmet olive oil tasting, where they will taste another magnificent product of the Douro region.
In a local village, you will enjoy a typical lunch at a traditional restaurant where you can taste the wonderful flavors of Douro’s gastronomy. The meal includes a tasting of the region's famous table wine, white and red. As we only have small groups, it will be a pleasant moment to socialize, exchange experiences, and taste typical Portuguese products.
You will enjoy a magnificent boat trip providing a unique and unforgettable experience. It will not be an ordinary boat, but a journey in a typical boat that transported the barrels, Rabelo. During the boat ride you will also have a wine tasting.
We will show you the most beautiful viewpoints where the guide will be available to take good pictures with your cell phone or camera.
